Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase. Minors may use the Site only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. By using the Site, you confirm you meet these requirements.
The Chatbot
Our chatbot ("the Chickadee") is provided for general information and fun. It can be inaccurate or incomplete, and it is not professional advice of any kind (including veterinary, medical, or wildlife-handling advice). Always use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional where appropriate.
Bird Sightings
Our "recent sightings" feature uses data provided by third parties (such as eBird / the Cornell Lab of Ornithology). This information is provided "as is," may be incomplete or inaccurate, and may be unavailable at times. We don't guarantee that any bird will be present at any location.
Purchases, Shipping & Returns
Our shop is operated through Fourthwall, and your purchases are also subject to Fourthwall's terms and policies. Products are made to order.
- Returns & refunds: Because items are made to order, we do not accept general or sizing-related returns. Orders qualify for replacement or refund only for quality issues (manufacturing defects or print errors) reported within 30 days of receipt, with a photograph demonstrating the issue.
- Shipping: We ship domestically and internationally. For international orders, you are responsible for any import taxes, duties, or customs charges, which vary by country and can't be calculated in advance.
- Cancellations / donations: Orders may be editable before production; donations and tips are non-refundable.

Content You Submit
If you submit content to us — for example, photographs, messages, reviews, or scavenger-hunt entries — you keep ownership of it, but you grant Project Creative LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, reproduce, and adapt that content in connection with operating, improving, and promoting My Chickadee. You confirm you have the rights to share anything you submit, and that it doesn't violate anyone else's rights or any law.
Intellectual Property
The Site and its content — including our hand-drawn illustrations, text, logos, designs, and the "My Chickadee" name — are owned by Project Creative LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Site, including: interfering with or disrupting it; attempting unauthorized access; scraping or harvesting data; using automated tools to abuse the chatbot; or using the Site for any unlawful or harmful purpose.

The Site relies on and links to third-party services (such as our shop, email, payment, advertising, and AI providers). We are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of third parties, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
